NEEL SAHAI - CHIEF EXECUTIVE OFFICER
Neel is a Co-Founder, Director and CEO of Green Island, helping design and drive forward the business strategy. Neel is a Chartered Accountant and member of the Institute of Chartered Accountants in England & Wales (ICAEW). He spent eight years working for PwC in both Jersey and Sydney, Australia before returning to Jersey in 2004 and has spent 16 years in the finance industry in Jersey, as a shareholder and director of a large Trust Company.
SCOTT SMITH - QUALIFIED PERSON
Scott has over 30 years in the Pharma industry, including over 10 years as a QP at a leading UK based medical cannabis manufacturer. Scott will be primarily responsible for overseeing our Quality Department and QP batch release.
PAUL MCCABE - HEAD OF QUALITY & REGULATORY AFFAIRS
Paul is a pharmacist by profession and spent 20 years as the Chief Pharmacist for the Government of Jersey. Paul has 4 years experience operating in the GMP medical cannabis industry.
MELISSA HADDOCK - HEAD OF PRODUCT DEVELOPMENT
Melissa heads up product development at Green Island, driving forward plans for new products and advanced formulations. She brings over eight years of experience in extraction, having worked with leading Canadian cannabis companies including Canopy Growth and Organigram.
DACO FERNANDES - HEAD OF PRODUCTION
Daco oversees Green Island’s production operations, covering all post-harvest processing and extraction activities. He brings over six years of experience in the European medical cannabis sector.
DAVE RICHARDSON - HEAD OF CULTIVATION
Dave is responsible for all cultivation activities at Green Island. He brings extensive experience managing large-scale commercial glasshouses and will oversee the efficient operation of Green Island’s high-tech indoor facility.

ALASTAIR MOORE - NON-EXECUTIVE DIRECTOR
Alastair plays a key role in shaping Green Island’s strategy, drawing on his extensive experience and global network within the cannabis industry. He has led legalisation campaigns, advised multinational companies and governments, and founded four businesses in highly regulated sectors.
JEREMY GOGAN - NON-EXECUTIVE DIRECTOR
Jeremy brings extensive corporate governance experience across retail, hospitality, property, banking, and financial services. He will also play an important role in shaping Green Island’s strategy.
GORDON BLAKE - CO-FOUNDER & DIRECTOR
Gordon played a pivotal role in establishing Green Island, drawing on 20 years of experience running one of Jersey’s largest commercial vegetable growing operations.
NINA BLAKE - CO-FOUNDER & DIRECTOR
Nina has over 10 years experience working alongside her father and brother operating one of Jersey’s largest commercial vegetable producers. Nina begun her career in hospitality after gaining a degree in business and qualifying as a chef.
GEORGE MACARI - CO-FOUNDER & DIRECTOR
George is bringing his experience, contacts and sales knowledge to the Green Island Team. He is the Director of a management agency that includes clients such as celebrity footballers and chef, Marco Pierre-White. He has various well established links into the medical cannabis industry in the UK, US, Canada, Australia, Carribean and Israel.
